Whistleblowing
Whistleblower function
The whistleblower function is intended for both the Group’s employees and anyone who observes anything that could involve corruption or other serious misconduct. The purpose of the function is to make it easier to report any irregularities, and to protect the persons reporting them.
What can be reported?
For the person making the report to be protected by the whistleblower function, the subject of the report must be in the public interest. It may pertain to things that are illegal, unethical or inappropriate. The person reporting them must also believe that what is being reported is true, and relates to the company.
‘Irregularities’ refer to all types of violations or misconduct, regardless of whether they involve conscious action or negligence. Other types of violations or misconduct which have not yet occurred but are very likely to do so may constitute irregularities. The irregularity need not be current or ongoing.
Who can make a report?
This protection covers not only employees but also numerous other categories of people who come into contact with our organisation, such as job applicants, interns, consultants and other temporary staff, any of whom can file reports as well.
How to make a report
Reports are submitted in writing to our email address at: visselblasare@perssoninvest.se
and this in turn creates a case and generates an automatic reply to the person making the report. Emails sent to this address will be de-identified, so that the recipient cannot see the senders email address. However, the person making the report can choose to leave a name and contact information, which may facilitate matters in the event of any follow-up questions.
The case created will be forwarded to our HR department, which will then determine how it is to be handled. Confirmation of receipt will be issued within seven days.
A whistleblower alarm can also be raised easily. This is done by contacting our HR department on any of the following telephone numbers:
