The engine of our business is our eight planing lines. The planers produce joists, planks, outer panel, inner panel, flooring and moldings in a wide range of different dimensions.

With the help of a total of eight planing lines at our three production facilities, we handle both special work and volume.
Valbo Trä has a long tradition of woodworking, more then 150 years actually, and now as then the planing lines are posted using cutters and steel that chisel out each profile from the raw material. The difference is the speed. Today it goes fast, very fast. We have high-speed lines that, under the right conditions, produce a package of wood every 45 seconds. But it's not all about speed, not when it comes to the most beautiful moldings or that unique profile sitting on your facade, then it has to take time to produce the right product.
Valbo Trä's total capacity is today approx. 270,000 m3, which corresponds to a utilization of 4,500 long-haul trucks/year.
